It’s The Weekend
It’s Friday. For some it’s the end of the workweek. For others it’s beginning of the workweek. Each day brings with it both beginnings and endings. As a matter of fact, every ending can be a beginning to something new and every beginning can be an ending to something old. And in this truth lies such a wonderful mystery about life.
Beginnings and endings can be hard to separate at times. Beginnings and endings can get so lost within each other that it’s almost impossible to tell them apart. Beginnings and endings are so one with each other that they are inseparable. Beginnings and endings can be like a perfect circle. A circle can be so perfect that the starting and ending points are so fused together that they remain completely undetectable.
Do you not see both the wonder and the mystery in this truth? Do you not see the patience and the wisdom this truth calls for in our personal lives and living? Since beginnings and endings are one, then we should remain patient. We don’t know what is about to be birthed from the death. We should remain patient because more than one thing is happening simultaneously. There is both a loss and gain happening at the same time. There is both a sorrow and a joy occupying the same place. There is both a goodbye and a hello at life’s intersections.
Be patient today. Finish strong so that you can start well. Don’t prematurely judge a matter or incident in your life today. Endings are not final. Beginnings are not forever. Remain patient. If you are at the sorrow of an ending be sure to wait for the joy of new beginning. If you are at the joy of an ending, beware of the labor pains of beginning. Try not to get stuck in either beginnings or endings. They both change and such is life.
